Second Year is No Easier

My first year of college is behind me and now I’m in my second year. Now that I’ve been here for a while, I learned the ropes of college. I’ve settled into a pattern that gives me enough time to study, have a social life, and get enough sleep. When I was in my freshman year, I couldn’t really balance all of these things and would find myself suffering because of it. Of course, being a second year student means that now I’ve entered a new level of classes. I turn to when I have trouble in my computer science classes, because the classes are harder than before.

I expected there to be a slight shift in difficulty because of the new classes, but I didn’t think things would be this difficult. On the first day of class, our teacher gave us an assignment that combined a lot of topics from the previous year, with one that we had just learned that day. I hadn’t been doing anything during the summer except working, so I had forgotten some things from the previous course, which made things even harder. I should have probably done some programming in my spare time to keep my mind fresh.

Once then next few assignments came, I looked online for help, and that’s when I found the website. It made things a lot easier for me, and I was able to understand some things in a better way than what the teacher was teaching us. Sometimes it seems as if the teacher is throwing us curve balls on purpose. There’s a test coming up in a couple of weeks, and there’s going to be a lot of information on it. I think I might be able to pass it, but I’m going to need to do a lot of reviewing.
